The Pink Triangle

Pink triangle button with information card that reads: Each group singled out by the Nazis
and sent to the concentration camps of the Third Reich in Germany had an identifying symbol.
The homosexuals were forced to were a pink triangle. It has been documented that as many
as 250,000 gays wore this symbol to their deaths.

Gays have now made the pink triangle a symbol of the efforts againast our continuing
oppression. In the U.S. today, gays are imprisoned, sent to mental institutions, socially
ostracized and denied employment.

We hope all people, gay and non-gay, who support basic human rights wear the pink triangle
and speak against gay oppression wherever they see it.
